the Cloud-high man (he was really tall)
sat down on an office building.
the mist swam through his curly black hair,
although he was bald on the top.
he saw the top of so many peoples heads,
he smiled, as he knew,
no one could see his head.
“but Cloud, no one can see my head either.”
a tiny voice sprang from below.
the tall man twisted around,
there was a 3 foot tall girl with pink hair
sitting on the edge of the building.
“I can see it, and it is bright pink.” he told her.
”no its not,” the smaller one said.
“it’s a glow-in-the-dark pop-up book,
it’s shuffling around and rocking me to sleep.”
“are you going to sleep, Pinkie?”
“you tell me, Cloud-high man.”
the Cloud-high man scrunched his bald head.
“don’t even think about it.” she said,
as if she were reading his mind.
but Cloud picked her up by her pink hair
and dropped her into his mouth.
when she kicked the inside of his cheek,
he only bit down harder.
When he had chewed her up, he stood and stretched his mile long legs.
but just as he thought the sprite gone,
a huge booming voice came from every direction,
he realized it came from within,
he felt it running right up to his ears.
“it’s still glowing in the dark, Cloud.”
