that outside
pretty smile beamed and shot strips of light
eyes gleamed and sparkled, glossed in thin layers of tear
warm delicious smell, when she swung her hair
soft smooth skin, flawless
it’s snugly wrapped over
that inside
shattered thin glass, soggy seaweed
brown water and the stench
cant we just stick a mop in her ear?
or a vacuum down her throat?
feather duster up her nose?
just suck out some rotted sludge
some slime, some garbage
some dust, some trash
all mashed together, sealed and gift wrapped
sewn shut and tucked under her hair
who knew, she was just so beautiful
